About Me.
I am a Master’s-qualified counsellor devoted to holding gentle, honest spaces for mothers, children, and families. My work is rooted in the belief that every person carries a story worthy of being heard, honoured, and understood. I have had the privilege of supporting individuals from many cultures and walks of life, including those navigating trauma and vulnerability, and I approach each journey with deep respect and care.
As a mother of two, I know that family life can be both tender and overwhelming, beautiful and complex. This lived understanding shapes how I sit with others - not as someone above their experience, but beside them.
My approach is holistic, weaving together the psychological, emotional, social, cultural, and spiritual threads that make us who we are. I believe healing happens when all parts of a person are welcomed, and I strive to create a space where you feel safe enough to soften, brave enough to speak, and supported enough to grow.

Education
2017-2020
BA (Hons) Philosophy
Keele University
I hold a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, a degree that deeply shaped the way I understand people, meaning, and the complexity of human experience. My studies invited me to explore questions of identity, truth, values, and belief, while developing the ability to think critically, listen openly, and hold space for different perspectives with care and curiosity.
Philosophy taught me not just how to analyse ideas, but how to sit with depth, uncertainty, and emotion - skills that now sit at the heart of my counselling practice. It continues to guide the way I support others, allowing me to approach each person’s story with thoughtfulness, respect, and a genuine openness to their unique way of seeing the world.
2022-2024
Masters of Counselling
University of Queensland
I completed a Master of Counselling at the University of Queensland, where I received advanced training in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, ethical practice, and culturally responsive care. My studies strengthened my clinical skills in assessment, active listening, trauma-informed support, and working with children, young people, and families.
The programme emphasised integrating psychological theory with real-world practice and taking a holistic approach that considers social, emotional, cultural, and developmental factors. This training prepared me to support individuals and families with confidence, compassion, and professionalism.
2024
Triple P Certification
Fearless Triple P Certification University of Queensland
I have completed training in Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) and Fear-Less Triple P, evidence-based programmes designed to support families in strengthening relationships and promoting children’s emotional wellbeing. Through this training, I gained practical skills in coaching parents, supporting emotional regulation, and helping families respond confidently to behavioural and anxiety-related challenges. These programs strengthened my ability to provide structured, compassionate guidance and equip parents with effective, everyday strategies that support their child’s development.
Philosophy
I believe that all souls would benefit from taking some dedicated time for themselves, to explore who they are, why they behave the way they do and to work through the more difficult aspects of life. All of us could do with a helping hand and somebody to walk through the darkness with. We live in a world that has become so fast paced and focused on ‘doing’ that we forget the foundational nature of being human - to connect. To ourselves, to nature and to each other.
I integrate spiritual philosophies with evidence based counselling approaches to create a truly ‘safe space’ for healing and integration.
I am an activist for humanity’s right to thrive and live free, and I am dedicated to creating a space that truly holds people in both their shadow and their light. For me a ‘safe space’ means to feel connected, heard, free, validated, acknowledged and accepted. Whatever your thoughts, goals, beliefs and attitudes are...they are welcome in this space.
I have a deep respect for human life and I believe that if we can support a mothers mental health then we can support the world. Mothers are the centre of humanity and should be treated as such.
